We currently have opportunities for suitably qualified and motivated interns to work with us for c3 months on exciting projects relating to future cities.
1. Smart neighbourhoods (2-3 months, March – Sept 2023)
You will be contributing to an internally funded project that is seeking to conceptualise the smart neighbourhood as providing opportunities to address some of the inequalities associated with smart urbanism. The position will help us take our review of the literature and current research to produce a position paper for publication. The role requires a background in urban studies or similar areas, and you should have some experience of writing articles. Further details of the project can be found at Project outline.

2. Future of the City Centre Network (3-6 months – start from April 2023)
We are looking for a student or graduate to help take forward this initiative. Experience or an interest in building networks/business development is desirable, and an appreciation of contemporary urban issues would be useful. The intern will work alongside the current project team to identity and connect with potential international civic and non-academic partners.
