fDi's Global Cities of the Future

IFC Director Richard Bellingham joined the panel of judges to assess entries to the fDi’s Global Cities of the Future 2021/2022 ranking produced by the Financial Times. Singapore again confirmed its top position ahead of London, Dubai and Amsterdam. The current global pandemic’s impact on cities of the future was a key feature of the judging. In making his judgement, Richard signalled that in future “cities need to think more clearly how the cities and the world will change. It is easy to think how we go back to normal, but there is going to be a new normal.”
