City Observatory wins digital storytelling prize ‘Images of Research’

The Institute for Future Cities was delighted win a digital storytelling prize earlier this month for a short film looking at health disparities in Glasgow, as part of the Images of Research competition.

The Institute also had images selected for inclusion in the final exhibition in both the Sustainability and Urban Health categories. Helen Kendrick collected the award from Bailie Liz Cameron at the prizegiving at Drygate, stating “these images and our digital story reflect some of the Institute’s diverse themes; health, sustainability and international development, and how our research can contribute to a better understanding of global cities”.
